The baby lions of Cameroon kicked off their game in style against the  South American champions  with Françoise Bere opening scores for the reigning African champions 10 minutes in for a perfect start.

both sides looked on the edge with Argentina piling the pressure on Cameroon and that pressure finally paid off 13 minutes into the second half when Alexis Flores lashed on to a flicked on ball from Godoi to restore parity.

at this point Cameroon lost her first choice keeper Ekoi Manfred to injury with his replacement Jacques MBIANDJEU  caught in no man’s land as Juan Pablo KRILANOVICH tapped in from close range to put the South Americans ahead in the 63rd minute.

the icing on the cake was completed in the 88th minute when Lautaro CANO beat the offside track to play in the second half substitute  Matias GODOY who slotted the ball in the back of the net for his side’s 3rd goal of the game.

Cameroon now have to put all their cards on the table to beat Spain who trashed Tajikistan to go top of the group on Monday so they can stand a chance of making it  to the next round as one of the best 3rd place teams while hoping that Argentina beats Tajikistan by a high score.
