Todo Stunned Nigeria

The 16 teams to take part at the 2020 African Nations Championship in Cameroon which is said to be played in April have been know with Togo causing the biggest upset of the 3rd round eliminating Nigeria 4-3 on aggregate.
Host nation Cameroon with her newly installed technical team led by Yves Clememt Arroga and Ndoumbe Bosso will be up in their 3rd appearance against defending champions morocco who won in 2018,Tunisia, Mali, Guinea, Togo who are taking part in this competition for the very first time, Niger, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, Uganda,Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
2 players distinguished themselves during qualifiers as over 146 goals were scored in 64 matches producing an average of 2.28 goals per match with Patrick Kaddu of Uganda and Prince Dube of Zimbabwe emerging as top scorers with 4 goals each.
The draws for the upcoming competition is yet to be announced by the confederation of African Football ahead of the grand competition dedicated to players plying their trade in their local leagues.
