“Today, the European Commission has granted a conditional marketing authorization for the drug remdesivir. In its recommendation last week, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), indicated that a study carried out on more than 1,000 hospital patients with Covid-19 showed that those treated with remdesivir recovered on average four days faster than other patients.
