5 Natural Ways to Reduce Sweating
Sweating is a natural thing for human beings especially for men, but it becomes uncomfortable when the sweat is too much.
People who seat a lot turn to feel uncomfortable when they are around people. Also, these set of people turn to use antiperspirants that have harsh chemicals which are not good for the body.
Below is a list of tested natural remedies to reduce your sweating rate;
1.POTATOES AND POTASSIUM-RICH FOOD
Slice potato and gently rub it in your armpit for some minutes. Do this on a daily bases and you will experience its drying effect.
Potatoes are known to absorb excess water and help relieve sweating.
2.TOMATO JUICE
Drinking a glass of tomato juice each day will help you control excessive sweating. It will help shrinks your pores and can reduce chronic sweat.
In case you cannot drink tomato, then simply apply the tomato paste where you sweat most and let it be on that spot for 10 to 15 minutes before you wash it off.
3.LEMON
There are two ways to use lemon. Firstly, slice a lemon into two and rub half of it on the spot where you sweat most.
mix lemon juice with baking soda, put on a cotton pad and then apply on your armpit. Live it on you for 30 minutes before you wash it off.
4.SEA SALT
Salt equally has many different ways you can use it. Firstly, rub sea salt crystals on your sweaty areas each time you feel sweat running down.
Secondly, mix salt with lime juice, rub the mixture on your skin or more sweaty spot and then rinse it after some time.
Note that, Salt absorbs sweat, blocks your pores and keeps your skin dry.
5.COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil helps to cure sweat and odor. Coconut oil contains lauric acid, which kills sweat-causing bacteria.
How to use coconut oil to combat excess sweat and odor:
- Mix 10 grams of crushed camphor and 1 cup of coconut oil.
- Apply the paste to your body
- Leave it on your skin for 45 minutes
- Rinse it off with water
Other things you can use to reduce your sweating rate are;
- VINEGAR
- GREEN AND BLACK TEA
- THOMPSON TEE SWEAT PROOF SHIRTS
- CORNSTARCH AND BAKING SODA
- WHEAT GRASS JUICE
- TEA TREE OIL
- STOP SMOKING
- CUT DOWN ON CAFFEINE
- STAY HYDRATED
