Kylie Jenner sold majority of her shares at Kylie Cosmetic to Coty for 600 million dollars

Kylie Jenner, just made a shocking move as she recently announced today November 18 that she will be selling her shares of the 1.2 billion dollar company-Kylie Cosmetics, which made her a mogul, to Coty inc.

Kylie Jenner, the world’s youngest billionaire has just delivered 51 percent of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty – the conglomerate behind Clairol, Cover Girl and Max Factor to name a few.

Kylie reportedly got $600 million for the sale, which gives Coty the majority shares. Even though Kylie is no longer the majority owner of Kylie cosmetics and Kylie skin, she is not totally out of business as she is still part of the brand and her face will still be the face of the brand even though she will remain a minority owner with Coty as the major owner.

Kylie is excited to partner with Coty

Coty said in a joint statement that Kylie will continue to lead all creative efforts and “communications initiatives. This however will mean that, Coty plans to take what Kylie started and expand it into a global brand. Kylie says she’s “excited to partner with Coty to continue to reach even more fans of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin around the world.”

She added, also that, “this partnership will allow me and my team to stay focused on the creation and development of each product while building the brand into an international beauty powerhouse.”

Never the less, she still has more trademarks like Kylie hair, Kylie baby and Kylie alcohol.
