President Biya opens the extraordinary summit of the Heads of State of Central African Economic and Monetary Community, CEMAC in Yaoundé today

 

President Paul Biya has today opened the extraordinary summit of the Heads of State of Central African Economic and Monetary Community, CEMAC today in Yaoundé taking place under the theme “Review of the Economic, Monetary and Financial Situation in the CEMAC Zone and Analysis of its Prospects”.

Paul Biya during his opening speech recalled that in 2016 the blog was hit by a macro economic situation which affected their economies and this summit is expected to address this situation as well as promote intra regional trade while making the environment a free zone for economic activities.

This gathering is expected to review actions taken so far in revitalizing the economies  of CEMAC countries  and ten points measure reforms who’s  implementation needs to be accelerated in the crisis zone for  growth and development.

In this   regards there for head of state and government of CEMAC countries  will inevitably locate the part place of  the CFA frs where  were measure are taken to maintain and reinforce value of the currency while the free movement of persons and goods amongst members countries is already  in place.
