Mayor of Bandjoun Fotso died today Friday March 20, 2020 in Paris France
Cameroon Radio Television has announced the death of Cameroonian wealthy businessman and Mayor of Bandjou, Fotso Victor.
He died today Friday 20, 2020 in Paris France after an illness.
The information was made public through the CRTVWeb Facebook page.
On discretion, Fotso Victor was evacuated to France after being elected as Mayor of Banjoun.
Just few days after he was elected Mayor in the February 9, 2020 municipal elections, he was moved to France for medical attention.
Fotso Victor was born on June 26, 1926 in Banjoun, West Region of Cameroon.
He therefore died at the age of 94. The hospital where he died is kept secret.
Fotso Victor is the father of Yves Michel Fotso, former Director General of Cameroon Airline Company(Camair Co).
Yves Michel Fotso was arrested for embezzlement and was evacuated to Morocco for medical reasons where he is presently receiving medical attention.
He died leaving behind his companies like CBC Bank, UNALOR, PILCAM, FERMENCAM.
