Nigerian born songwriter and singer Teniola Apata is currently the most dominant female musician in Nigeria and the younger sister of Nigerian singer Niniola
Born in Lagos on the 23rd of December 1992 where she grew up, Teni released her debut single “Amen” while signed to Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records in 2016. She started gaining prominence after releasing the single “Fargin” in September 2017. She made her breakthrough after releasing the hit singles “Askamaya” which was ranked 15th on MTV Base’s year-end list of the Top 20 Hottest Naija Tracks of 2018
She acquired her degree in business administration at the American Inter-Continental University.

SIMI
Popularly known as Simi, the Nigerian Musician Simisola Kosoko has dominated the Nigerian music industry with her cool musical qualities.
Born on April 19th, 1988. Simi has made a name for herself through her magical vocals. She was recognized as a chorister before she stretched her goal to be a gospel artist. Simi started her music career as a gospel singer, releasing her first studio album in 2008, titled “Ogaju”. This however didn’t gift her fame so she decided to dump this genre of music and switched to Afrobeat where she featured Falz on the song ‘Tiff” in 2014. This particular song brought her fame as it was nominated for Best Alternative Song at “The Headies 2015”
Nonetheless, her debut album, ‘Ogaju’ as a gospel singer in 2008 paved a way for her by boosting her confidence

Born on the 5th of February 1980 in Isale Eko, Tiwatope Savage popularly known as TIWA SAVAGE is a Nigerian singer, and songwriter recognized as the best female artist in Afrobeat.
Tiwatope Savage has been topping world music charts with her genuine qualities. Despite being born in Isale Eko, She however relocated to London at the age of 11 years for her secondary school education. Five years later she began her music career as a backup vocal artist in the service of some top stars like George Michael and Mary J. Blige.
She, later on, moved back to Nigeria after several years of Musical experience abroad, aiming to establish the face of the Nigerian music firm where she signed to Mavin’s record owned by another popular Nigerian musician Don Jazzy.
In 2014, Tiwa Savage was the first female Nigerian artist to be nominated for BET awards. In 2014, she was also nominated for the MTV European Music award which was later nominated for and won in 2018.

Yemi Eberechi Alade who was born on 13th March 1989 in Abia state Nigeria. She started her music career in 2009 as a contender to the popular peak musical concert where she emerged as the best of all following the great talent she displays on stage.
She, later on, got a great record label contract with Effyzzie Music Group where she released her single ‘Johnny’.
This song gave her prestige as it became everyone’s favorite. Her fan base also infused attracting several nominations from top musical awards.
