The young mother by name Mado Madelene 17 years old according to her National Identity Card, is without consolation.
The baby is said to have been smuggled by an unknown lady in the hospital premises.
Indeed, she gave birth yesterday Monday, February 03, 2020 at the district hospital of the cité des palmiers neighborhood in the Dla 5 subdivision around 1pm.
According to the victim, just a few minutes after putting to birth, she asked to see her baby and the nurses in the delivery room replied that she could see her baby later because it this is under observation.
After some time, she was approached for assistance by an unknown woman who saw her in difficulty when her slippers got bad as she was returning in the hospital where she gave birth.
While both of them were discussing over the help across the road, Security guards thought they were together and so allowed them enter the hospital. In the ward, the stranger pretended to be kind and had pity on the
baby’s father who looked tired and hungry, giving him 500 frs to go get himself something to eat.
When he left, the woman offered same malicious gesture to the nursing mother for her to get food, while she helps to carry the baby.
As the baby’s mother left, the unknown woman left alone confidently, walked out of the hospital with the child, without anyone including the guards at the gate suspecting or questioning her.
Until this time, this new mother is without news of her baby. No statement from officials of this state health institution.
